Erase Your Internet History

Your browser stores many temporary files and records of the histories of navigation while you surf the Internet. This information is stored on the hard drive of your computer. You should clear your Internet history after each browsing session so that others can not track the websites you’ve visited.

Before you start talking to erase the history of the Internet from your PC, you must have some knowledge about the historical practice of navigation and temporary files. The stories are paths of browsing web pages visited by you. Moreover, temporary files consist of deposits. It could include some photos stored in your browser so you can access it again easily.

Although there is no harm if not delete the browser history and temporary files, it is likely that the main threats to privacy as any other person sharing the same computer can know your browsing habits. In addition, plenty of space on your computer is eaten by these stories and navigation files. So it is advisable to delete Internet history. You can do this by following the steps listed below:

For Internet Explorer:

After selecting “Internet Options on the Tools menu, click the General tab when the Internet Options window. To delete cache files, choose Delete in the Browsing section. A window will be where various sections, such as form data, cookies, passwords, temporary Internet files and History. If you want to delete only the selected files, click the corresponding buttons that can be seen in this section. However, to clear the Internet history that offers a single click, go to History “open” or “Remove All” button. You can find this button at the bottom of the browser window.

For Firefox:

Clear Internet history is easy if you use Mozilla Firefox. To begin, open the menu by selecting “Tools” and click “Clear Private Data”. The window that opens after this step has different sections, such as saved passwords, browsing history, cookies, search history and saved form. Check the boxes in this section to delete the selected items. However, if you want to clear your Internet history, please click “Clear Private Data Now”.

For AOL (America Online):

Locate the “Settings” button in the upper segment of the browser window. Click this link, then “Preferences”. After that, choose “Toolbars and sounds,” then click the button marked “trail of the story now clear” to erase Internet history.

In addition to the above steps, you also delete third party applications you have installed on your computer. Since the text of these applications that store passwords, photos and other sensitive statistics on your hard drive, the inability to make clear their browsing habits vulnerable to being known by others, using the same computer. To accomplish this task, you can even use some software to find and delete these files manually is a difficult task.
